Do you want to know more about how juries make decisions in rape trials?

One of the keynote speakers at our forthcoming conference is Dr Dominic Willmott, a Research Fellow based within the University of Huddersfield’s None-in-Three Global Research Centre for Gender-Based Violence. Dominic’s work has focused upon the application of psychological principles within forensic and criminal justice domains. His PhD research examined the extent to which juror bias can impact the impartiality of verdict decisions within rape trials, the findings from which have received national and international attention within the media and with practitioners and academics. Dominic has also conducted independent research evaluations of gender based violence interventions within British police forces, as well as recently being commissioned to deliver training around the prevention of sexual violence to the United States Airforce.
