Fighting Grooming Gangs and Youth Exploitation Conference 12 June 2025

Adele’s virtual session is entitled, Developing an understanding of an effective response to child sexual exploitation: The Road from Rotherham, and will consider:

• Reflect on findings from Rotherham
• Examine current models of grooming including the use of digital platforms and exploitation of vulnerability
• Consider the implications of key learning and the recommendations of the Rotherham inquiries, and the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) for future safeguarding practice.
